Even though the speed limit is around 100 km/h, most cars are designed to do at least 160 km/h, and some a lot more. As buyers, we like to know how fast a car can go, and it is so relevant for some people that it can make them choose a model over another one even if they will never reach its top speed. Therefore, manufacturers make sure customers know how fast their vehicles can go.
Jaguar is known for its unique British approach to luxury fashioned car interiors and for making fast cars. In case you don't know, Jaguar owns a Formula E racing team. However, this is different from what we want to know today. What matters here is how fast your everyday Jaguar can go. So let's look at every Jaguar model currently available on our market.
E-Pace – 229 km/h
With a 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, the Jaguar E-Pace isn't what we call a fast vehicle. Of course, speed isn't the only thing that matters for buyers looking out for a compact luxury SUV. Still, the E-Pace can do 229 km/h thanks to its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder.
Jaguar I-Pace - 200 km/h
I won't lie to you, the Jaguar I-Pace is an odd vehicle, and the British manufacturers don't sell a ton of it yearly. However, it is Jaguar's first EV, which is relatively fast, with a 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.8 seconds. The I-Pace even had its race series at some point. Its top speed is limited to 200 km/h, but it can go faster.
Jaguar F-Pace – 286 km/h
Going over 250 km/h in an SUV is a scary thing. The Jaguar F-Pace can reach 286 km/h in its most potent form (SVR), and it needs only 4.0 seconds to reach 100 km/h, which makes it the fastest Jaguar SUV. The British SUV offers acceptable performance in its basic form, with a 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and a 217 km/h top speed.
Jaguar XF – 250 km/h
The XF is Jaguar last sedan in North America which is a sad thing considering the brand built a literal empire around the automobile. Anyways, the XF delivers engaging performances even if it is down to offering only a turbocharged 2.0-liters four cylinders.
Jaguar F-Type – 300 km/h
With a name like that, you expect the Jaguar F-Type to be a fast car, and it is. The British sports car can do 300 km/h and reach 100 km/h in less than 3.7 seconds, making it Jaguar's fastest vehicle.
